Last night Rapper The Game turned himself in to begin his 60 days in jail. The rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, received the sentence as a part of a plea deal in which he pleaded no contest to felony possession of a firearm in a school zone. Two other charges against him – making criminal threats and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of a peace officer, were dismissed. The charges stem from a 2007 basketball game at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in Compton. Game alleged beat up another player – then he brandished a pistol and threatening to kill him. In addition to the 60-day sentence, The Game also received 150 hours of community service and three years probation. So hopefully he comes out fine.
